Back To School...Beach to School GIVEAWAY!

Hi all!

I don't know about you but I'm already getting in the Back to School mode...  I blame Target!  Love that Dollar Spot...  I can neither confirm nor deny that I went to 3 Targets yesterday to go through the Dollar Spot.  Slightly embarrassed about that one but I did find the mini caddy I needed!

ANYWAY...I decided to look through my back to school stuff and since we're starting school on August 12 this year (Anyone else starting that early?) I looked through my little Beach to School unit I made last year.  While I liked it last year, I decided to give it a little face lift and then added a ton to it (so it was 35 pages and now it's 63!).  WHEW!  I'm SUPER excited about how it turned out and am really excited to use it next month with my new group of kiddos!

If you already purchased it, THANK YOU and please go download the new version.  Trust me.  Totally.  Worth.  It.  If you haven't purchased it yet, I have it on sale for $2.00 until Friday!  Woot, woot!  I love sales.  And as always, I would LOVE feedback!  Here are some pics of a few of the updated pages.

And since I'm so excited about my finds at Target, I'm going to give away two of these units to the first two people to comment what their must have back to school purchase is.  And....GO!

Smile!

We Love Books Linky with Deanna Jump. Picture Day Editable Note Freebies and More

I am super excited to be linking up with the amazing Deanna Jump

for her Book Linky.

I've wanted to do a blog post on

so Deanna’s linky just helped me get my patootie in gear.  This book tells a story every teacher can relate to in that the main character Josephina Caroleena Wattasheena has a slight problem staying focused.  SAY WHAT???

(click on the pictures if you're like me and can't read the small format)

She is always wondering about how things work rather than what she should be doing.

 Sound Familiar???

I bet you have a few students’ names on the tip of your tongue right now.  Don’t you??? I know I do!

Joshephina is always fidgeting, fiddling, fuddling, and foopling with something; she’s pretty much a tornado in action tearing up everything in her path. I love the way this story ends, it's a great reminder for us that every child has a talent and sometimes our weaknesses are our strengths.  I hope you love this book as much as I do, you can pick it up on Amazon.

I have also put together a 3 free activities to go along with the story as well as some picture day reminders that are EDITABLE in PowerPoint. You can pick up your copies here. ( with all the fidgeting, fiddling, fuddling, and foopling in this story you could also do a great lesson on alliteration .)

Editable Notes

                             Character Trait Activity

Making Connections and How to Get Ready for Picture Day Writing Activity

Tuck these Away for Next Fall!

Bye Bye Firsties and a Giveaway!

Hey all!  I’m a little embarrassed by how long it has been since I posted.  Hi! :::waves:::  It’s Caroline!  I haven’t fallen off the face of the Earth.  I had a super busy year with a class of kiddos and my boys at home that kept me moving until I passed out at 9 PM!  Haha!  Now I’m on summer break and ready to share some stuff with you.  Alison’s been great at sharing all year.  Thanks girl!

So, since I’ve been away SO long, I’m going to give away my new product, “Good-bye First Grade!”  I will give this product away to the first 2 people who comment (make sure you put your email!).  Comment away and I will send it your way!  I’m really excited to share this.  It turned out so cute!

Here are some pictures of the project during and after.  It always cracks me up to see how the kids draw their faces!

Can't wait to see your comment!  I also put it on TPT for $1.00 for a FLASH sale so if you miss the giveaway, it's still 50% off!

Smiles!
